Kelly was born on June 27, 1968, in Nashua, New Hampshire. She is married to Joe Daley for about 20 years and they have two children together: Katherine and Jacob. Kelly lives in Nashua with her family.
School and college life
Kelly studied in public schools in Nashua, her hometown. Later, she attended Pennsylvania State University. She also attended Villanova University School of Law and earned Juris Doctor Degree.

Kelly after graduating served as the chief of the state’s Homicide Unit and Deputy Attorney General. And later was promoted as the Attorney General. During her tenure as the attorney general, she led efforts for the murder convictions in about over sixty years. She also served as the Democratic Governor.
Political career of Kelly Ayotte
Kelly has been continually advocating, especially when chairing the Armed Services Subcommittee on Readiness, about the issues relating to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Pease Air National Guard Base, and the New Hampshire National Guard. She also took a leading role, as a member of the Small Business and Commerce Committees to lower taxes. She also cosponsored measures to improve workforce training, and to repeal medical device tax. She also took a huge initiative towards the small business, from expanding opportunities to authorizing research programs, she has done it all.
Also Kelly, as a prosecutor, led bipartisan efforts to stop and protect victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. In addition, she also helped pass legislation to renew Violence against Women Act. She also took initiatives and helped introduce Campus Safety and Accountability Act to make college campuses a safer place and also to strengthen the accountability and transparency of the institutions involved.
Kelly was named the 2014 Legislator of the Year by the National Council for Behavioral Health for her outstanding works and her leadership. She was also named one of the top 50 Republicans on international affairs by Foreign Policy magazine.
